The nickname arrived faster than the watches did: green bezel, black dial, and a coffee chain's palette that Rolex never asked for but the internet insisted upon. This 2021 Rolex Submariner "Starbucks," the reference 126610LV, pairs a 41mm stainless steel case with a black dial under that signature Cerachrom bezel. It is the modern successor to the all-green "Hulk," trimmer in profile and, to many eyes, the more wearable of the two.
The case measures 41mm in stainless steel, a subtle growth from the 40mm generation that came before, with slimmer lugs that let it sit closer and more elegantly on the wrist than its predecessor. It is fitted to a Oyster bracelet, the brushed three-link staple built for the water and equally at home under a cuff. The green ceramic bezel is the watch's calling card, holding its color where earlier aluminum inserts would fade.
The dial is the classic Submariner black, its lume-filled hour markers and Mercedes hands reading with the crisp legibility that has defined this line for decades. Against the green bezel, the black gives the watch its clean, high-contrast character.
Inside is Rolex's automatic movement, the caliber 3235 that powers the current Submariner generation. It brought a roughly 70-hour power reserve and the brand's Chronergy escapement to the line, quietly modernizing a watch better known for its looks than its guts.
This Rolex Submariner remains in pre-owned condition. The seller reports clear signs of wear, the honest marks of a watch that has been used rather than kept in a drawer. No service history was disclosed.
