H. Moser & Cie built its modern reputation on the fumC) dial, that smoky gradient that fades from a bright center into shadowed edges, and here it takes on an unexpectedly bold register. This 2025 H. Moser Streamliner Centre Seconds Purple Haze, reference 6201-1201, pairs a 40mm stainless steel case with a purple dial that few brands would dare put their name behind. It is a watch that argues, quietly but firmly, that restraint and daring are not opposites.
The stainless steel case measures 40mm and is fitted to an integrated stainless steel bracelet, the cushion-cushion silhouette that gave the Streamliner its name a lineage that reaches back to Art Deco racing chronographs and streamlined locomotives. The tapering links flow into the case with almost no visual seam, and the whole design was conceived to wear as one continuous piece of metal rather than a case with a bracelet bolted on.
The dial is a deep purple fumC), darkening from a luminous heart toward smoky borders in the manner that has become the brand's signature. Moser famously keeps its dials free of logos and clutter, letting the color do the talking, and in the Purple Haze that color does plenty of it.
Driven by an automatic movement, the Streamliner Centre Seconds relies on Moser's in-house self-winding architecture, known for a generous power reserve and the double hairspring the manufacture developed for improved rate stability. It is a serious mechanism dressed in playful clothing.
This H. Moser Streamliner remains in unworn condition, presenting exactly as it left the manufacture. The seller reports no known flaws. No service information was disclosed, which is unsurprising for a 2025 example that has not yet seen wrist time.
It is offered with its H. Moser & Cie box and papers.
